We are excited to announce the immediate availability of ON1 Photo RAW 2018 Beta 2. The excitement and feedback we’ve received from the ON1 community has been tremendous. Thanks to everyone involved in helping us build the best ON1 product yet.
There were lots of fixes made in beta 2. Check out the blog post for the full list of changes then download the beta.
Miranda snapped this shot when we got home from my grandmother’s funeral yesterday. She wanted a photo of me in my suit, so I called Otto over and she captured this just after I got him to sit next to me. I love it.
It’s cold here this morning (only 34°F), and steam is rising off the lake. I’m kind of sad that I don’t have time to walk down to the breast and get a shot of the entire lake, but this is the view from the front yard.
My grandmother Olga (my dad’s mom) died yesterday at around 6pm. She was 96 years old. The photo above was taken August 31, 1985 at a family reunion.
Rest easy, Gram. I love you.
Since the first iOS 11 beta, one of the things that has been driving me crazy about the Files app is the lack of ability to sort by name while keeping folders above files. On the desktop, there’s a “Keep folders on top when sorting by name” option in the Finder preferences, but the Files app has no such option.
After futzing with all of the options and even trying to manually drag items around (hint: that doesn’t work), I finally decided to follow a suggestion from Nathan Smith over on Twitter:
After tagging all of the folders I have with a “Folders” tag and sorting by tag, I’m now able to get the sort I want. It’s ugly, but it works. Hopefully Apple will provide a less painful way of doing this (imagine how awful it’d be to do this with hundreds of folders) in a future iOS release.
